8th grade students: AGHS Counselors will be here today to help you register for classes in science. If you were able to stop by the Intro to Architecture and Engineering table at Career day….keep in mind all industries today use computers to design. Learn how to draw in 2D & 3D. You will get to learn a wide range of skills. From designing on the computer to creating your own video game or using a laser to create a stencil or dog tag. Ask your counselor about Intro to Architecture and Engineering.

Speaking of AGHS……. Arroyo Grande High School is hosting a middle school night and inviting all middle schoolers to come support the JV and Varsity Boys Volleyball team this Wednesday, March 23rd at AG High. The JV team plays at 5:00pm and Varsity starts at 6:00pm. To get in free you just have to bring your Judkins ID and remember to come with an adult. If you have any questions just see Mrs. Seiler. Today is Career Day, have fun! Here is your last college tid bit: Don’t be afraid to take classes that will improve your skills and make you more confident. Every class you take does not have to apply to your major. If you are a communications major, but computer science has always interested you, take a computer class. Overcome your fear of public speaking by taking a theater or speech class. Become a better writer by taking a writing class.
The idea of college is to grow personally and professionally. Also, take classes that are just fun. You could even take a horseback riding class!

Next week there will be a door decorating competition between Advisory classes. Stay tuned for the specifics.

Congrats to the boys and girls soccer teams they both won their first games of the tournaments.

Congrats to the 7th grade boys volleyball team for taking 2nd place in the Mesa Invitational Tournament yesterday. They battled their way through 8 games all the way to the championship, but fell short with a 22-25 loss to Laguna. Way to go Panthers, we are so proud of you.

Today the 8th grade boys volleyball team will be playing in the Mesa Invitational Tournament as Mesa Middle School. Good Luck, You Got This!
