About Us

Located in Pismo Beach along California’s scenic Central Coast, Judkins Middle School includes a diverse population of students, teachers, administrators, parents, community volunteers, and support personnel. We are committed to preparing students for success in high school and whatever path they should choose to take in the future. We pride ourselves on high expectations. Our goal is to partner with parents to foster the growth of our students.  We want to make school a safe and fun place to be.

Common Ground Club Meeting TODAY at Lunch in room 15. Join us to discuss current events that matter to YOU!

The Bathroom Pass Raffle tickets have been counted for Spirit Points! Not only are they counted, they are divided by size of your team to calculate a fair average:

In 4th place, with 2.8 bathroom passes left per student: PRIDE gets 100 spirit points!
In 3rd place, with 3.2 bathroom passes left per student: PAWS get 125 spirit points!
In 2nd place, with 3.6 bathroom passes left per student: PREDATORS get 150 spirit points!
In 1st place, with 4.7 bathroom passes left per student: PROWLERS get 200 spirit points!

GREAT JOB TO THOSE OF YOU WHO PRIORITIZE USING THE BATHROOM AT BREAK, LUNCH, AND IN THE LOCKER ROOM! Raffle winners will be chosen next week, and points will be added to team totals before Judathon starts on Monday morning!

Speaking of Judathon: Bring your BEST SPIRIT on Monday, Panthers! Dress up in your team colors. The best dressed will be selected to represent their team for Spirit points in the fashion show! We will make an announcement at the end of today about what you need to bring with you to school on Monday, because we are still working out some logistics.

Our 8th grade promo dance is tomorrow from 7-10. There will be food and drinks provided, as well as a DJ. It will be free, but you have to be in good standing with your grades, behavior, and attendance. Only eligible Judkins 8th graders will be allowed to attend the dance.

All students, please start to return your library books that you have checked out. The library is officially back open and it is time to begin bringing back your books. Thank you!

Governed by a seven member Board of Education, Lucia Mar proudly educates more than 10,000 students who attend Lucia Mar’s eleven elementary schools, three middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, one independent student study school, and one adult education program.
