Congratulations once again to Mr. Ortiz’ class who are enjoying their Cinnamon Rolls and to Mrs. Linsenbigler’s class who will enjoy pizza at lunch for winning the Attendance Challenge!

Minimum day on Friday, December 22. Students are dismissed at 11:25 am. Enjoy the nice long break. We return on Tuesday, January 16th at 8:00 am.

Friday Night Live, also called FNL, will meet today at lunch in room 5. Everyone is always welcome.

We are going to have some rainy days this week, Panthers. This is a reminder that when it is raining we stay out of the rain. You may not be on the field at all if it is raining. You are allowed to be in the classroom wing hallways to take cover, under the main walkway covers, and in the Library. Teachers who open their doors at break or lunch will allow you to come chill in their room.


On Friday, December 22nd, we will have a school-wide Mini Judathon! This is a minimum day of games, candy canes, and a rally! Students with any discipline, attendance, or tardy issues in the next ten days will be placed on an activity ban and not able to participate! Be nice and demonstrate Panther Pride!

Hey panthers! The PRIDE Scan totals for November have been calculated!
Predators earned 1,068 scans-that means the average student on their team earned 10.7 scans getting Predators the 1st place award of 50 spirit points.
Prowlers earned 1,052 scans- an average of 10.3 scans per student-getting Prowlers the 2nd place award of 40 spirit points.
Pride earned 762 scans - an average of 6.1 scans per student-getting Pride the 3rd place award of 30 spirit points.
Paws earned 590 scans-an average of 4.5 scans per student-getting Paws the 4th place award of 20 spirit points.

Keep up the good work panthers and continue showing PRIDE in the classroom to earn scans from your teachers!

Last day for Advisory Attendance is this Friday the 15th! Make sure you have completed filling in your Attendance percentages written on the Attendance posters! Mrs. Theadore will come by to pick up and tally up to see which class wins the party on December 20th! IF it's blank.... it's zero percent!

Tomorrow morning to be a part of the Grover Beach Christmas parade! Join the JOI Club in passing out candy canes and spreading holiday happiness! See Mrs. Pierce at lunchtime today in room 20 for a permission slip and join in the fun from 9 to 11 AM tomorrow. We will cheer on the Judkins band also! Great chance for community service hours if you are in AVID. Come join us to spread holiday optimism!

Our 2nd Judkins Blood Drive was a great success! We got 21 donations, and even had some new people donating! Please thank all family and friends that you invited, and we hope YOU look forward to becoming a donor yourself someday! Thanks again from the JOI Club!
