Good morning Judkins! This is the Colson bringing you the morning bulletin and announcements.

We didn’t get very many canned goods for our canned food drive. Don’t forget to get those into your advisory class before time runs out.

Cross Country, Please turn your jerseys in to Mr. Hubbell in Room 8 as soon as possible.

November/December is POSITIVE ATTITUDE Month! Teachers… Try to catch students being positive… smiling and being kind!

Good morning Judkins! This is Sierra and Isabelle here with stuff you need to know.

If you are in Language Arts peer tutoring please head to the MPR now.

Friday Night Live, also called FNL, will meet today at lunch in room 12. Everyone is always welcome.

Students if you have an unsold car raffle ticket make sure you get it sold or return it to the office so another student can sell it. We are about 2 weeks out from having to return them all.

Students don't forget to bring your canned goods for the Thanksgiving drive. You earn points spirit points for your team.

AVID 7 and 8 is collecting your excess Halloween candy to donate to the troops overseas starting through Friday. Advisory teachers, please have one student collect the candy for your class. Paws and Pride, drop your candy off in room 10. Prowler and Predator drop your candy off in room 12. One student from each class will drop the candy in the spirit team’s box. This is a spirit team competition.

Students can come to room 13 today at lunch to check out the ofrenda.

Remember, anyone that is currently serving detention for any reason is not allowed to attend games after school for ten days. Also, if you are attending a game, you may not leave the gym and come back. Supervision is provided in the gym only. Students may not be on campus unless they are in the gym to watch the game. Students leaving early must make arrangement with their parents or guardians.

Good morning Judkins! Listen up Panthers, this is Sena and Jacob with some important information.

GSA club meets today at lunch in Room 5! Today we are playing a group game.

Paws won the rally with 240 points, Pride came in second with 210, Prowlers were in 3rd place with 170 points, Predators came in last with 120 Points! Great Job Y’all!

Here are the results from the LGBTQ+ History month Kahoot: In 4th place- Predators, in 3rd place- Pride, in 2nd place- Prowlers, and in 1st place- Paws. Good job, Panthers! Your spirit points will be added to your team’s total.

Each history month 8th grade AVID posts the impressive people that we remember and recognize for their contributions to the country.

November 1st begins Native American Heritage Month. Native American Heritage Month was first recognized November 1990 when Congress issued a joint resolution authorizing President George H.W. Bush to declare the month of history. Native American Heritage Month is a time to call attention to the culture, traditions, and achievements of the nation’s original inhabitants, and their descendants.

This month 8th grade AVID created a bulletin board for LGBTQ+ History Month. Now that you've had all month to read the board, test your knowledge with a Kahoot created by 7th grade AVID and help your team win spirit points during Advisory today. Good Luck Panthers!

Next week we start our holiday canned food drive. Look for the informational slides created by leadership. This year we will be sponsoring 6 families with Thanksgiving dinner. Start collecting those cans and bring them in on Tuesday-this competition is for spirit points.

Please support drama by going to Chipotle tomorrow, Saturday, October 27, from 4pm - 8pm! We so appreciate everyone who came out to Panda the other weekend! We made $230 on that fundraiser! All of the money is put towards production costs for our shows! We are doing Elf The Musical Jr. this December! Thanks for all of your support!

Don’t forget that 5 tardies for periods 2-7 will result in detention! Detention days double with every five tardies. There have been a lot of tardies over the last two weeks. If you get a detention slip but did not get an office referral, it is probably because of your excessive tardies. If you get a detention slip, you must go to the front of the lunch line and quickly head down to Room 24 at lunch. Get to class on time, Panthers!

Judkins will participate in the Support our Schools car raffle. Advisories will be competing against one another to see who can sell the most tickets. First place Advisory will get a pizza party and the second place advisory will get a donut party. The competition will last for the month of October. Ask your teacher for details and check your tickets out from Mrs. Buenrostro in the office.

Good morning Judkins! This is Sierra here with stuff you need to know.

Did you know that we just started a new fundraiser? We’re pretty excited about it. You have the chance to sell raffle tickets that enter your friends and family for a TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLAR credit toward a new car. The tickets are only $20 and someone from the central coast wins this raffle every year. The best part is that Judkins gets to keep 90% of all the money we collect from the raffle tickets. If you think you can sell a ticket, ask your advisory teacher to go pick one up from the office when announcements are over.

Tomorrow, October 20th is Spirit Day. Wear purple to show your support and allyship for the LGBTQ+ community and take a stand against bullying. Ask your advisory teacher to show the slides on the advisory calendar to learn more. If you don’t have any purple you can still wear Judkins colors to earn Spirit Points.
