Great job dressing up for the spirit day last week! Predators came in 1st with 45% participation, Pride came in 2nd with 42% participation, Prowlers came in 3rd with 29% participation, and Paws came in 4th with 23% participation.

HAPPY Mexican Independence Day! This fiesta-friendly holiday celebrates Mexico's declaration of independence from Spain in 1810, and it's filled with national pride, colorful parades, mariachi concerts, and delicious food! If you want to play Loteria at lunch today, stop by Room 13! There is a limited amount of space, so first come first serve! More to come next week about Hispanic Heritage Month!

Hopefully you guys are dressed up in your sport, so your team can get spirit points!!! You all look great!

Penny wars update!!
Mrs Wozniak and leadership students were up all night counting all the change that came in yesterday. The Prowlers really brought a ton of change. Way to go to all teams who stepped it up! We will have an update posted to Mrs. Woz’s google classroom as soon as we finish counting this am!!

Congrats 7th grade girls volleyball players for the WIN over Laguna yesterday!

Remember tomorrow is a spirit day, where you dress up in your favorite sports team’s gear to earn spirit points!

If students want to stay for the home volleyball game this Thursday they must:
Stay at the picnic benches after school until the gym is opened
Sit in the student section (the Predator section of the bleachers)
Stay in the gym and watch the game or leave campus
Pick up all trash OR we will not allow food/drink in the gym

Today is a minimum day. Students are out at 11:25 am.

The Judkins color guard marches in parades with the Judkins Band. Find out about color guard on Tuesday during lunch in the band room.

Today we start our first fundraiser benefiting the 17 Strong Foundation! Bring those pennies in or sabotage another team with change or dollar bills! The containers will be located at the flagpole at break and lunch this week only!! We will update all the totals daily in the bulletin. Let's see how much money we can raise!!

Monday we start our first fundraiser benefiting the 17 Strong Foundation! Ryan Texiera was a former Panther and passed away in his 2nd year of college from cancer. Our proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards his foundation. Have you heard of “penny wars?” Bring your money, change or dollar bills! This will be a team competition. Look for the big containers at break and lunch by the flagpole. Add pennies to your team to add points or put change/dollars in another team to sabotage! Bring your game and your money starting Monday!!

Great job starting to read the Student Handbook in Advisory yesterday. Read, study, and Panther Print the Handbook with any free time you have in Advisory, because you’re expected to know the school rules and will be tested on them next week!

Today in Advisory, you will start to go over the JUDKINS STUDENT HANDBOOK. This is an important school document that reviews school rules and expectations. By the end of next week, it is expected that every student will have read the entire document and pass a TEST with 100% accuracy.

Cross Country practice starts today right after school. Meet coach under the solar panels at 2:30. We will finish up at 4:00.

Joy Club meets today in Rm 22. We will be handing out applications to be a part of this international group of people working to bring optimism and joy to their communities and we invite YOU. Get your lunch and come down to Mrs. Pierce’s Rm 22 today for our gathering. Thanks!
