Penny Wars update:
Today at lunch is the last day to earn points or sabotage another team!!!
Here are the standings-In 4th place... they are having a hard time getting out of last place the PREDATORS with negative 14,577 points, in 3rd place with negative 13,107 points is the PAWS, in 2nd place with negative 11,796 points is the PROWLERS and in 1st place with negative 11,626 points is the PRIDE. The race is neck and neck...who will bring it today to finish off the race?????

GSA club meets today at lunch in Room 5

Good morning Panthers! We hope you all are having a great morning!

Today is Twin Day. I hope you have twined up with someone!! Tomorrow is ugly sweater day so grab those cozy sweaters and be ready to rock them at school!

Due to the weather there will be no Spirit Day Game at lunch today.

Joy Club meets today for our holiday party. Thank you to everyone who has helped spread optimism and positivity this first semester! Way to go, Panthers! Joy Club, see you at lunch in room 22. Thanks!

Penny Wars Update:
Ok we have 2 days left!! Here are the totals after everything collected on Monday. In 4th place are the PREDATORS with negative 14,435 points, in 3rd place are the PAWS with negative 12,085 points, in 2nd are the PROWLERS with negative 11,244 points, and in first place by only 62 penny’s are the PRIDE with negative 11,182. We will only have the bins out at lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday….if it’s raining the bins will be in the MPR.

There will be no school store this week due to the minimum day schedule!!

Attention panthers if you have lost anything this semester please go to the MPR to claim it. There are water bottles, sweaters, jackets, beanies and more. Anything not claimed will be donated during winter break.

Happy Monday Panthers! It's our last week before winter break!! We will miss seeing all of your faces!

On Friday it will be a minimum day, so school will get out at 11:25am!! We will also be having our mini Judathon that day!! There will be a lot of activities for you to do.

Tomorrow it will be twin Day! So twin with somebody you know! We can’t wait to see your twinning outfits!

Coming in at the bottom of the pack is the PREDATORS with negative 14,615 points, in 3rd with negative 12,444 is the PROWLERS, in 2nd with negative 10,492 points is the PRIDE, and in first place is the PAWS with negative 9,764 points. The 8th graders ended the week on top….3 more days to leave your mark in the big jars on the black top….who will win?????

We have a spirit week next week so be sure to keep up and earn spirit points! On Monday, make sure to wear your teams spirit colors to earn spirit points.

Next Friday we will have a minimum day and a Mini Judathon. We will have more details in next week's bulletin so make sure to listen up its going to be exciting!!

Due to popular demand we will be extending ticket sales for the dance tonight! Stop by at lunch for your ticket! We will not be selling tickets at the dance so this is absolutely your last opportunity. Those coming to the dance can be dropped off and picked up at the upper parking lot.

Penny Wars Update:
In 4th place….PREDATORS with negative 11,602 points thanks to a $20 sabotage, in 3rd place PRIDE with negative 9265, in 2nd place PAWs with negative 8925 points and drum roll….in 1st place with negative 8034 points is the PROWLERS!!!!!! Can anyone stop the PROWLERS??? We have decided to extend the Penny Wars competition since its been so successful in raising over $500. The last day of the competition will be Wednesday at lunch!! Clean out your couches, look in the floorboard of your parents cars….bring in your pennies!

Penny Wars Update:
WOW!!! Panthers, you are all amazing...the amount of sabotage that went on yesterday was record breaking!! Ok...here we go….in 4th place with negative 7,064 points are the PREDATORS, in 3rd place with negative 4,944 are the PROWLERS, and in 2nd place only 676 points ahead with negative 4268 points are the PRIDE, and in FIRST PLACE with negative 2762 points are the PAWS!!! Will the 7th graders team up to beat the 8th graders??? Or will 8th Grade team up to sabotage the 7th?? It remains to be seen! GO Panthers!

Today is the last day to buy a ticket to the dance this Friday! We are not selling tickets tomorrow. Do not forget that you cannot have any less than a 2.0 GPA or have office level discipline within 10 days of the dance. The dance tomorrow starts at 5:00 and ends at 7:00. Make sure you have arranged a ride home with friends or family members and bring a jacket, it’s going to get cold. We hope you have a great time!

The Student Store will be open tomorrow at lunch. It’s your last opportunity of the semester to spend your scans!

Anime Club will be meeting today at lunch in room 1 to continue watching Spirited Away.

Do not forget that on Monday you have to wear your team's spirit colors to help earn spirit points for your team. Next week is spirit week so we will have a lot of different games for you. Tuesday is twin day!

Judkins boys basketball has a game today after school against St. Pats at St. Pats. 7th starts at 3:30 and 8th starts at 4:30. Good luck boys you got this!

If you are in peer tutoring for language please head to the library.

Mr. Mike check in: Make sure you’re picking up ALL of your trash! Instead of piling up all of the trash, go to a different trash can. It does not look likely that we will get our phones. DO better panthers!

Prowlers are still in the lead with a positive score of 452, in 2nd place is the PRIDE with negative 566, in 3rd place is the PAWS with negative 662, and in 4th place is the PREDATORS with negative 1158. PREDATORS bring your $ and sabotage the other teams, otherwise you stay in the losing lane!!!!

If you are wanting to go to the dance make sure you buy your tickets tomorrow! We are not selling tickets on Friday. Do not forget that you cannot have any less than a 2.0 GPA or have office level discipline within 10 days of the dance. If you are ineligible to attend the dance now due to low grades and you get your grades up….please see Mrs. Woz to be allowed to attend. Thank you!

Bring your change to deposit at break or lunch to help your team pull out the win!! Look for the bins on the blacktop. All money raised will go to sponsor 5 families for Christmas.

Attention cross country and girls volleyball: We are having an athlete appreciation today. You are able to come to the appreciation meet at lunch by the gym if you were on the cross country or girls volleyball team. Boys and girls basketball teams are not included because of their unfinished seasons. We will be hosting more appreciation days in the future to all teams of Judkins.

Buy your tickets for the dance before thursday December 9th so you can attend. You can buy the tickets by the office from leadership students.

Joy Club meets today at Lunch. A huge thank you goes out to the nine Judkins students who passed out 1200 candy canes at the Grover Beach Christmas parade on Saturday! Way to go, Panthers! Bring a friend, grab your lunch, and come on down to room 22 for joy club today at lunch. Thanks!

Attention students there is an opportunity for Saturday school this Saturday from 8-12:15 pm. There is no transportation but there is a snack provided. See Mrs. Pierce in room 22 for a permission slip.

Mr. Mike check in: Getting your phones looks very hard to do now because of how bad the trash was yesterday. Mr. Mike had to spend quite a long time picking up your trash yesterday. Make sure you throw away your trash especially if you are on the fields or by the solar panels. Do better. We did not put trash cans out for no reason.

If you have received office level discipline within 10 days of the dance you will not be able to attend the dance even if you have already bought the ticket. We will be selling tickets at lunch for $4 this week.

At break and lunch find the bins located on the blacktop: each penny added to your teams jar earns you 1 point. Any amount more than a penny actually subtracts points. So if you add a dollar to other team jars that will subtract from their total… Add pennies earn points, add nickels, dimes, quarters or dollar bills and that takes away points. So if you wanna get sneaky, put a dollar in another teams jar to take away their points!! Game on Panthers

Great job yesterday at the basketball game! The seventh grade boys won by over 30 points! Way to go!

If you are interested in surfing before school on Mondays there will be a chance to meet on Addie St on December 6th. For more information please go to room 8 at lunch and see Mr. Hubbell.

The PRIDE Student Store will be open at lunch. The point prices have been lowered, so check and see how many scans you have received to see if you can get something! Small candies are 3 for 10 points, chips are 15 points, and full size candy and drinks are 20 points!

If you have a notification about an overdue book, be sure to take your book to the library as soon as possible to return or renew it. You are welcome to come by the library during advisory, break, lunch, or after school.

Today is kindness day! Check out the bulletin board by the bathroom. You can “Take what you need” there are inspirational qouts that you can take to keep uplifting your day or
you can “ Give what you can” by taking the Judkin challenge and doing a random act of kindness!

There is a basketball game today at Judkins against mission. 8th grade starts at 3:30 and 7th grade starts at 4:30! Good luck!
