This is a part of your Advisory grade and ensures that the school, students, and parents are all on the same page about the rules.

We are excited to announce that AVID Day will officially be celebrated today, August 30, 2024! This special day is dedicated to recognizing the incredible work of educators and students who are committed to closing the opportunity gap and making plans to attend college. AVID students will be at the flagpole at lunch today asking college trivia questions. Come by, answer a question, and get a piece of candy.

Anyone interested in joining the Judkins Mock Trial team can sign up in room 61 at break. Tryouts begin next week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school until 3:45.

There is no school on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor day. Enjoy the long weekend!

Do you have a knack for drama, a fascination with true crime stories, or a talent for debate? Join the Judkins Mock Trial Team for the opportunity to act as lawyers and witnesses in a fictional criminal trial against other schools. Competitions take place in real courtrooms and are scored by real judges and lawyers. Come to an informational meeting TODAY in Room 61 during break to learn more.

If you or someone important in your life identifies as a part of the LGBTQ+ community and are looking for support, to make friends, have a fun place to hang out at lunch or help make our school a more supportive and safe space for all students come to room 40 at lunch TODAY to learn more about the GSA Club at Judkins. We are the Junior Optimist International Club, and we help the Five Cities Optimists Club to “Bring out the BEST in kids!” Hear about FUN FEST, a free event for kids on September 8th that YOU can attend and help to be a success! Panthers, Cross Country is a sport where you get to challenge yourself in a group environment. Anyone can sign up to represent Judkins as long as you have a positive attitude and a willingness to run (or jog) a mile or two at a time. If you are interested in learning more come to room 43 at lunch on Friday. Practices begin next week!
