College Week update: Take advantage of college study abroad programs to experience a new country, culture, and activities. Study abroad programs can be very affordable, usually costing about the same as a semester at college. For most students, it may be the first time they’ve been out of the United States. Study Abroad programs are more than just fun, they’re a great way to challenge yourself and to open new professional opportunities. Many employers are looking for graduates who have international experience. It shows you have knowledge of different work styles, an open mind, and good communication skills.

College Week update: People with college degrees have higher job satisfaction and report their work to be more satisfying and interesting. 55% of college graduates reported being “very satisfied” with their work. Only 30 percent of non-graduates reported the same. Wear your college or judkins gear on Friday to earn spirit points for your team!

Be the change you want to see in the world! JOI Club meets today at Lunch to make posters for the BLOOD DRIVE one week from today. Do you know anyone who might like to LITERALLY give the gift of life here next Tuesday morning? Come get a flyer for adults you know to sign up. Happy College Week!! Don’t forget this week to dress in any college gear you have. Each morning we will share a bit about college and its benefits. College graduates have more earning potential on average than people who only have a high school diploma. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that in 2018, people with a college degree made around $500 a week more. That could mean non-college grads are missing out on $1 million in earnings, over a lifetime.

Congratulations 8th Grade Boys Volleyball Team who took 1st Place in the Opening Season Volleyball Tournament on Friday night! Not only did they win the Championship, they went undefeated 10-0. Please give a big shout out to these boys when you see them today!

There is a home Boys Volleyball Game today Vs. Laguna. 8th grade plays at 3:15 and 7th grade plays at 4:15. Hope to see you there!

There is a Boys Volleyball Game here at Judkins today. 7th Grade plays at 3:15pm and 8th grade plays at 4:15pm. Come support and cheer on your team. Hope to see you there!

Today in Advisory there will be a school-wide lesson about the use of Derogatory Language. This is a serious topic that needs to be addressed and maturity will be expected from every student.
