The PRIDE Scan totals for August & September have been calculated! Predators earned 1,294 scans-that means the average student on their team earned 12 scans getting Predators the 1st place award of 50 spirit points. Pride earned 1,084 scans, an average of 11 scans per student-getting Pride the 2nd place award of 40 spirit points. Prowlers earned 1,100 scans- an average of 10 scans per student-getting Prowlers the 3rd place award of 30 spirit points. Paws earned 972 scans - an average of 9 scans per student - getting Paws the 4th place award of 20 spirit points. Keep up the good work panthers and continue showing PRIDE in the classroom to earn scans from your teachers! Look in the hallway to see the updated spirit point totals!

LGBT History Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. It was founded in 1994 by Missouri high-school history teacher Rodney Wilson. Please read the mini biographies written by AVID 8.

Judkins Cross Country had a great first meet! Sebastian Pille placed 1st in a photo finish, Logan Peterson placed 7th and Mason Muscio placed 15th of 143 runners leading our boys team to place 3rd overall. Great work panthers!

Come cheer on our 7th and 8th grade bands tomorrow Saturday, September 28th at 10:00am at the Arroyo Grande Harvest Festival Parade! Judkins Middle School, Paulding Middle School, and Arroyo Grande High School are combining to create a Megaband!!! Let’s go Panthers!

Next week is out first spirit week! Come dressed up in the theme everyday to earn your team spirit points! Monday is Pajama day, Tuesday is matching day, Wednesday is beach day, Thursday is Jersey day, and Friday is Spirit Colors!

Students - Please be aware that taking someone’s pull ties off of their backpack (students are calling these “dreads”) without permission is NOT something we do at Judkins Middle School. Every student received the Rules presentation from an administrator in PE where we specifically talked about not touching other people’s property.
