Great Job on Determination Break Activities this week! So far 3 Prowlers, 6 Paws, 11 Predators and 16 Pride Team members have scored scans and points toward Spirit Teams at the end of the month.

8th grade students wanting to apply for 9th grade AVID, applications are due by Friday!! Make sure to get those applications turned in to Mrs. Peterson or the office by Friday. Also if you are interested in applying for AIM (leadership) in 9th grade there are still open spots. Go to Mrs. Woz’s google classroom or see her for more information.

If you would like to purchase a yearbook they are now $25. You can also purchase online on the Jostens web page.

Disability Pride Month is recognized with several biographies about amazing individuals who have disabilities. Disability Month has been described as “accepting and honoring each person’s uniqueness and seeing it as a natural and beautiful part of human diversity.” Please read the biographies written by 8th-grade AVID.

Congratulations to the Judkins Boys soccer team on an undefeated season in league. Shoutout to Adrian Angel Carter Colin Colin Diego Eliab Emilio Erick Fernando Jonathan Mason Misael Reyli Roman Sebastian Tyson Yahir Yahir Yohanni Bash. Special shoutout to our defensive MVP Carter Durbin and our offensive MVP Adrian Escanaero!

We’ll continue to fundraise for water week next week! So far we’ve raised almost $500 towards funding a clean water system for our sister school Panthers. Keep it up!

Great work fundraising for Water Week Panthers! Yesterday we raised close to $100 towards funding a clean drinking water system at Tung Mai Elementary in Vietnam. If you want to help, you can donate at lunch by buying a tape ticket for $1 to tape Mr. Penton to the Flagpole next week, and you can have the chance to throw a water balloon at him by donating $4. Every dollar that we raise goes toward buying tanks, pipes, and water filters to build the drinking water system at our sister school. Shout out to Storie Morris and Wyatt Brown for setting up a lemonade stand after school and raising over $40 in donations.

Congratulations to our 7th grade boys volleyball team for taking first place in the south county volleyball tournament yesterday! They defeated Paulding in the championship game with a score of 25-21. A huge shout out to all the players - Jude, Alexander, Marko, Barrett, Logan, Ace, Landen, Jayden, Dash, Amos, Krishna, Wyatt, and Kane for a job well done. Lastly, an extra special shout out and congratulations to Teddy Cano for being selected as Most Valuable Player of the season! The 8th grade boys volleyball tournament is today here at Judkins and starts at 3:15. Hope to see you there!!!!

If you are in Math peer tutoring please head to MPR now.

Hey panthers! The PRIDE Scan totals for MARCH have been calculated!
Prowlers earned 808 scans - that means the average student on their team earned 7 scans getting Prowlers the 1st place award of 50 spirit points.
Predators earned 637 scans - an average of 6 scans per student-getting Predators the 2nd place award of 40 spirit points.
Paws earned 607 scans - an average of 5scans per student-getting Paws the 3rd place award of 30 spirit points.
Pride earned 499 scans - an average of 4 scans per student-getting Pride the 4th place award of 20 spirit points.
Keep up the good work panthers and continue showing PRIDE in the classroom to earn scans from your teachers!

Panthers, so far we have raised over $300 toward clean drinking water! See the advisory presentation today to learn about our sister school Thung Mai Kindergarten and Primary School in Vietnam. Shout out to Jude Stumph who donated $50 of his personal savings for water week! Come to the flagpole at lunch today to learn more about how you can help and stay tuned for more updates.

Spirit Teams who participated and turned in the Integrity Recipes scored Team points! Paws came in 1st cooking up 24 Perfect Panther Recipes, Prowlers placed 2nd baking up 12 Delicious recipes. Pride simmered 3 Mmm Good recipes. Finally, Predators…. practice your kitchen skills and participate next time!

JOI Club will meet again to talk about the GRAVITY WATER PROJECT with Mr. Hubbell at Lunch today! Think how important CLEAN WATER is to you, then come down to Rm 20 at Lunch to share ideas. All are welcome!

This week is a spirit week. Hopefully you dressed up for PJ day today. Here is the breakdown for the rest of the week.
TUE- USA day dress up in red white and blue 4th of July Themed
Wed- Crazy Sock day- wear you wackiest socks or customize your everyday pair
Thur- Monochrome day- Wear only one color in your whole outfit.
Fri- Spirit day- dress up in your spirit team gear

The 3 on 3 basketball tournament starts tomorrow at lunch. Check the tournament schedule tomorrow morning in room 16.

Come out tomorrow at break to share “What you do to show that you’re honest and trustworthy” and receive 2 scans!

Water Week is the week we come back! Water is AWESOME! But imagine if you did not have fresh, clean water to drink. This is your chance to make a big difference and we’ll let you know exactly HOW as this week goes on. “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

The Five Cities Optimist Club is sponsoring an Oratorical Contest to be held the Saturday we are on Spring Break, April 6th. Create a 4 to 5 minute speech on the topic “How to change the world with optimism” and win cash prizes! See Mrs. Pierce in Rm. 20 for an application and GO FOR IT!

If you are an 8th grader and have questions about high school registration, or high school classes, please meet with Mrs. Woz today in the MPR at break. Tomorrow AGHS counselors will be on campus and that is our deadline to have classes in order. Also there will be a post with all the links added to her google classroom, review that tonight.

Calling all basketball fans! There will be a 3 on 3 basketball tournament next week. If you would like to sign up come down to the lower basketball courts at lunch. All three teammates must sign up in person to make a team. If you don't have three we will add you to the signals list and make a team for you.

Soccer Game today at Paulding. Come out and support your team. Boys play at 3:15 Girls at 4:15. Teachers please release the boys 5 minutes early so they can beat the traffic.
