Good morning panthers! We are already half way through the week!

Interested in being a peer tutor or receiving peer tutoring for Language or Math? Please find Ms. H during break or lunch while she is out on the field or stop by her office in room 33 so she can put you on the list.

GSTA club meets today in Room 5 at lunch. All are welcome!

This Friday is Anything but a Backpack Day! Bring a container of some kind to carry your school supplies in for the day. Keep in mind all teachers have the authority to not let your container into their class if they think it will be distracting. Containers may not be rideable, motorized, or involve live animals. Have fun!

Please check the lost and found in front of the MPR. We have a ton of sweaters, water bottles, and backpacks. We will be donating everything by the end of the week.

We are sad to announce that today is our absolutely-wonderful-best-librarian-ever Ms. White’s last day at Judkins. She has created the best library for you all over the years, including good books and a great space! We will miss her SO MUCH, but she and her husband bought a house in northern California and are moving away! Go see her today to say thank you and goodbye!

If you were nominated as a praiseworthy panther for second quarter, make sure you get your award from the teacher who chose you and fill out your in n out slip. Because of the rainy weather the in n out lunch is postponed until next week. If you did not see the winners yesterday, check the advisory slides to see who was chosen!

Congrats to Mrs. Licea’s advisory class for winning the car raffle contest. It was a close one with Mrs. Licea’s class selling 22 and Mrs. Pierce’s class sold 20. Great job panthers! Mrs. Licea’s advisory class gets pizza for lunch today.

Every student is invited to the Joy Club meeting today where we will celebrate 2022! 🎉 Over this Winter Break is also a chance for our Judkins WRITERS to create an entry for the 2023 Optimist International Essay Contest. Write 700-800 words on the official topic,“Who is an Everyday Hero that Brings Out the Optimism in You?” Essays are due in January and you can win cash prizes locally as well as scholarships for college at the top levels. Get your lunch and bring your friends down to room 22 for the last JOY Club meeting of 2022!🎄

Today is the dance! Tickets will be sold today during lunch, and only one person may buy a ticket for themselves. We will not be selling tickets after school or during the dance. We hope to see many of you there!

If you are attending the dance, here are some rules:
You may not leave campus and come back.
Only students who have purchased a ticket may stay after school.
Report to the picnic bench area after school, then students will be checked in at the door of the MPR.
No running around in the dance…hang out with friends or dance! :)
Do not take photos or videos of ANYONE without their permission.
You must be picked up promptly at 4:30! No later!

Saturday School is tomorrow morning at 8:30 to 12:45. PLEASE BRING your signed green form NOW to Mrs. Pierce to get a meal ordered for you. Also, please be rain ready and arrange your transportation. Mrs. Pierce will see you at 8:30 exactly in her Rm 22 to set your goals. Way to WIN, Panthers!
