Good Morning Panthers! Remember this Thursday we will have our halloween costume contest! It cost 2$ per ticket to enter the contest! Come stop by the picnic tables under the solar panels at lunch to buy your ticket!

Since we didn’t talk about yesterday due to the power outage, the volleyball tournament was amazing!! And our 7th graders placed 3rd, and our 8th graders placed 1st!!!!!! Great job to all of you. This volleyball season was great and we hope you all enjoyed it too. Since girls volleyball is over, boys basketball is starting! We have a game against Paulding this Thursday, so try to come and support your basketball players!

Students, you may not eat on the basketball courts at break and lunch. We have had too many messes. Please eat at the tables or on the grass. Thank you!

There is a Halloween fundraiser costume contest coming up next Friday on the 29th, so if you're interested, go buy your admission tickets at the student store at lunch.It is $2 per ticket and proceeds will go towards a local animal shelter. Can’t wait to see your amazing costumes!

For those that celebrate, you may dress up for Halloween at school on Friday, October 29th. Costumes must adhere to the school dress code, no full face masks, and be sensitive to perpetuating offensive stereotypes.

Morning panthers! What an exciting set of games yesterday…...Congrats to both the 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball teams for getting the “W” against Mission. There is a home volleyball game today against Mesa,,,, 7th graders play at 3:15 and 8th graders at 4:15. Hope to see you there!

Good morning Panthers! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Lots of volleyball games this week! The girl’s volleyball tournament is coming up this Friday. If you haven’t been coming to the games this Friday is the last one for the girls this year. Really try and come if you can.

Thank you to all students and staff that signed the ally pledge last week. The GSA club collected nearly 200 signatures. Thank you for making our school a safer and more inclusive place for everyone.

Congrats to the 8th grade girls volleyball team on beating Paulding again for the 2nd time this season! 7th graders - it was a close match, but don’t worry you will crush them at the end of the year tournament. There will be a volleyball game against St.Pats tomorrow from 3:30 to 5:30 at St. Pats.

We are launching our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year! Every year Judkins students participate in a Car Raffle fundraiser to earn money for the school. You know those old picnic tables you eat lunch on? Guess What?! Your PTO wants to replace them for you! To do this we need each panther to sell ONE raffle ticket each! That's it!

Of course, we would love it if you sold more than one ticket and we are offering individual and class incentives for TOP SELLERS which we will explain below. However, if we sell 450 tickets total by the end of the fundraiser, which is the equivalent of ONE ticket per student, the PTO will host an ice cream social at lunch for every student!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

You will get raffle tickets from your advisory teacher. Please limit 3 tickets at a time and when you sell those tickets and return your money you can get more tickets.

Do I have to sell tickets? No, this is voluntary. Please consider selling one ticket though. The first class to have every student sell at least ONE ticket will receive a PRIZE!

Each raffle ticket costs $20.00. That sounds like a lot, huh?! However, this is a local fundraiser, meaning someone in THIS COMMUNITY will win the GRAND PRIZE - $20,000 voucher toward the purchase of a new vehicle at any participating dealership! Also, FIVE second place winners will get a $1000 voucher toward the purchase of a new vehicle.

The actual drawing is held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 6:30 PM at Toyota in Santa Maria.

All tickets must be sold and money collected by November 12th. Return your money and any unsold tickets to your advisory teacher.

INCENTIVES:

Every week we will give away ONE gift card for the top seller that week (you can only win this prize once, but there will be a TOP seller award at the end which you will be eligible for again, so keep selling those tickets!)

The FIRST CLASS that has EVERY student sell at least one ticket wins a class prize.
The TOP selling class at the end wins a pizza party!
The TOP selling student wins a $50 gift card. The two runner ups win $25 gift cards each.
If we sell 450 tickets as a school, PTO gives away ICE CREAM for everyone!!!
